SMARTFIND MOBILE APP WAS EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL PROBLEM FOR SOME SUBSTITUTES. SMARTFIND TECH TEAM ADVISES TO UPDATE SF MOBILE APP VERSION: To update the SmartFind Express app, go to your phone's app store (Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android), search for "SmartFind Express," and tap the "Update" button if it appears. If the button says "Open," the app is already up to date. You may also delete the App, then Add it back using District Code NGSB. You can also check for and install updates manually through the app store's "Manage apps and device" or "Updates available" sections.

DISTRICT CODE FOR MOBILE APP: NGSB SMARTFIND indicates Mobile App updated to version 24.3.2 as of 3/11/2024. Smartfind instructions recommend going to the App Store to update the App if you do not have automatic updated enabled on your phone. Instructions from Smartfind: Open App Store> search Smartfind Express> IF it needs an update, there will be a button to click to Update it. To view version, select SFE Mobile App, select ? at top right, version is listed once ? selected. /
PLEASE READ EMAIL 2-Factor Authentication Activation
In order to provide an additional layer of security for district applications that are accessible from outside of the district network, the district has implemented two factor authentication (2FA). What is two factor authentication (2FA)? Two-factor authentication requires users to verify their identity using two separate methods. One method is the standard district username and password. The additional method will be a text sent to the users cell phone or the use of an app the user can load on their cell phone. How will it affect You? District users will only utilize 2FA when attempting to access district applications such as web based email and the district portal from outside of the district network and while using a non-District computer. If you only use your district laptop AND connected via VPN to access external district applications such as email, Enrich, or Portal, you do not need to setup 2FA. How do I install 2FA? You ARE REQUIRED to setup 2FA in order to access your email outside of the district on personal devices. To set up 2FA, select the menu option - Setup Two Factor Authentication from the district portal. Go to www.greenville.k12.sc.us - Click Employee tab, then go to District Web Portal and then on the General Tab there is the link to SET UP 2 FACTOR.
SUBSTITUTE AVAILABLE JOBS SEARCH via Web or Mobile App: In the last couple of weeks, Subs with large number of Locs and Classifications were not seeing Available Jobs. RECOMMEND using Filter to search by a Single Date to improve the response time for Subs with a large number of Locations and Classifications. It could take 1 to 2 minutes for Available Jobs to populate. /
